This year, the University of Pécs is celebrating its 650th anniversary! For the occasion, the Central Sports Office organized an “Anniversary Run”, which is going to take place on April 27th, 2016. The office’s goal is to have 1367 participants, who will run 1367 meters.
Are you an interested student of the UP? Then become a “Running Ambassador”. It will be your job to promote the anniversary run and to invite other students to join you. For your initiative you will receive a university T-shirt.
This is a charity event organized in cooperation with the “Dezső Kosztolányi”. Every participant has to pay 200HUF = ca. 65 cent as a registration fee. The collected money will be donated to a primary school placed in a Hungarian village beyond the border.
Join the Ambassador Program and take part in one of the anniversary events, while you do something good. As you can see, there are many opportunities to do sports in Pécs. Be a part of it while studying there!
