This year of Pre-Medical course has been fantastic: we have learned to be independent and I believe we all have grown up as persons, we have had a lot of fun and we have amde friends with students from the rest of Europe. Although I still think the Pre-Medical course is a bit too excessive, we have learned everything that was necessary for the entrance exams and we have substantially improved our level of English. I would recommend the Pre-Medical course to any student who did not make it into Hungarian universities by taking the exam in their country of origin, and I firmly believe that if you take this course a bit seriously and keep your grades between 4-5, the entrance exams become simply a process you have to go through to enter the University you want. This is not my case, I guess you will have received my grades at the end of every trimester/semester, and they are not above average at all, I have missed several lessons and I even have failed some subjects, the las t weel I studied intensively for the entrance exams, and I believe I have obtained as much as possible in this short period of time. However, this lack of organisation that I am determined to change as soon as the degree starts has helped me to learn from my mistakes and it will be a positive experience, thanks to this, I can also say that the Pre-Medical is a very good option and brings everything necessary to enter the Hungarian universities. In summary, I believe this is a great experience and VERY RECOMMENDABLE.
I believe that you would also like to know that, judging by the news I´m getting, virtually all of the Spanish students have been accepted into one of the universities, and all of those who have worked in a constant manner have been accepted at Semmelweis without a problem. This is why I believe that we all agree that this course has been a very enriching experience and very fruitful in terms of the results.
Regarding Budapest, what can I say, my favourite word is “surprising”. It has absolutely nothing to do with what I imagined before I took my flight from Barcelona. It is a beautiful city, with every imaginable service and the ratio quality/price of the flats is more than acceptable. The College is a beautiful building with well-equipped classrooms and attentive, well-educated staff. Education is highly personalised and you receive help in order to make your studies a simple, nice experience.
This is the last group photo we took as a goodbye after the exams in May 2012.
Thank you very much for everything, Lydia.
Big hugs.
Pau Andreu.
