Midwifery is a degree which entails great responsibility
and offers a wide professional field in the areas of
gynaecology and obstetrics. Midwifery is a
multidisciplinary profession which cares for the woman
and the baby well before, during and after childbirth.

We offer you two possible options to access this degree:
either after having studied a Nursery degree or
directly after leaving secondary school.

All Midwifery certificates issued by Semmelweis
University are officially and automatically
recognized by the Spanish authorities
from May 24th on.

The European Commission has recently confirmed
that the designation of the qualification, used
in the certificates issued by Semmelweis
University, is in compliance with the amended
Annex V of Directive 2005/36/EC.
