Admission exam

Admission process for the academic year 2018/2019 is now open.

In order to be admitted to the degrees in Medicine, Odontology, and Veterinary in the English modality without university studies you will need to pass an admission test. You will be tested in Chemistry, Biology, and English. You will also have a personal interview with a professor from the Faculty of Medicine.

There are several exams a year. It is important to sign up as soon as possible for the admission test to be able to choose one of our options. We will send you preparation material in order to increase your chances of admission. We will assess you also during test preparation. If convenient, we can even organise private lessons with professors from the Faculty of Medicine during the summer, in case you want to refresh your knowledge before beginning your studies in September.

It is possible to take the entrance test more than once in the same academic year

In order to be admitted to the degree in Medicine it is important to have studied Biology and Chemistry. The students who have studied health-related subjects during secondary school fulfil the essential requirements. It is also necessary to have a medium level of English.

If this is not the case, we recommend you take the Pre-Medical course first. Upon completion of the course, the student is ready to begin successfully the degree in Medicine.

University students who are studying at other faculties such as Pharmacy, Biology, Veterinary or Odontology may access the Faculty of Medicine without taking an entrance test after individual assessment of student records.

This is also possible for graduate students in Health Sciences degrees such as Nursery, Physiotherapy and Food Science.
